Barry Osborne, a research librarian at The Denver Post, recently wrote about the Library Value Calculator on the Denver Public Library's website (denver library.org/about) and how he saved over $700 in one year by using his public library. He goes on to write about the savings he gains each month, "The seven books amounted to a monthly return on investment of $27.66 for every one of my tax dollars that went toward the library's budget, a return that would make even Bernie Madoff envious.."
Take a moment to use our Library Value Calculator and discover what you save each month. You will find that your monthly return on investment is just as impressive considering you pay around $.50 a day on a home valued around $120,000.
